Martin’s Garage Bailieborough has been serving Irish farmers since 1969. What began as a small repair workshop founded by Freddie Martin quickly grew into one of the country’s most respected farm machinery dealerships. Through decades of dedication, award-winning service, and trusted tractor brands, we’ve built our reputation on reliability, expertise, and genuine customer relationships.
The History Of Martin's Garage
Founded by Freddie Martin, the business started by repairing a wide range of vehicles and machinery. In the early 1970s, we expanded into farm machinery and became the International Harvester dealership for Cavan and Monaghan — laying the foundation for long-term growth.
Freddie was named ‘Dealer of the Year’ in Ireland for three consecutive years. Later, we secured the Massey Ferguson franchise and were recognised in 2006 as ‘Salesmen of the Year’ for selling the most 6400 series tractors in Ireland and the UK.
Following Freddie’s passing in 2009, the business continues under the management of his sons. His work ethic and commitment to farmers still shape everything we do today.
